Blogcreate was a blogging and web development event, with 60 participants competing with each other to create a functional webpage with a creatively written article in it. Speakers, including Mr. Sarath Babu, founder of Sarath Babu’s Lifestyle Blogs, Mr. Diwakar Badiger, co-founder of Careerboat and Mr. Tathagat Thapliyal, a front-end developer from Cred, gave valuable insights to students on a wide array of topics, including the art of writing, UI/UX and other aspects of web development.
The participants, in teams of two, developed visually appealing and responsive web pags, while writing articles on a topic given to them, also improving on their research skills as they explored more information into their topics and web development. They were then judged on the basis of the originality and creativity of their writeups, and their aesthetic appeal and responsiveness of their webpages.
